Miru was born in Seoul, South Korea on January 4th, 2013.
She spent the first six months of her life in Korea, before moving to Europe in the summer to travel with her parents.
After Christmas in the Netherlands, and a crazy adventure involving the explosion of her parent’s car, she decided she needed another means of transportation.
In a tapas bar somewhere in Spain, she did her first recorded step.
A few months later, she was running.
By the time it was summer again, she ran, talked and sang whenever she was not tired.
That year, she moved to Portugal with her parents. First the countryside around Serra da Estrela, later Lisboa and Setúbal. She also performed as an artist together with two of her friends in mamacaravana. Then she followed her parents to Berlin, Germany, where they spent the next summer.
After a short stint in her father’s native Netherlands, she moved to South Korea in December 2016.
